Apart from regular studies, Fr. Agnel College, has various other extra curricular activities which students particpate in

COLLEGE STUDENTS COUNCIL
  • The students council is constituted according to the Goa University Rules with the following aims and objectives
  • To promote all round development of the students of the college.
  • To help the Principal in maintenance of discipline and good service to the students and institution.
  • To organize curricular and extracurricular activities of the college under the guidance of the Principal and the Lecturers like different competitions, wall paper etc.
  • To discuss any suggestions, plans of actions, issues etc. pertaining to the general welfare of the student community of this college.
  • The council consist of :
    • President - Principal of the College (ex-officio)
    • Chairman - A Teacher of the College nominated by the Principal
    • General Secretary
    • Class Representatives
    • One lady student representative from each stream
    • Gymkhana Secretary
      N.B. Preferably, the General Secretary will belong to the senior most class like T.Y., whereas Gymkhana Secretary can be from any other class.
  • The College council cannot take any decision independently of the Principal nor convene its meeting without Principal's consent.
COLLEGE ASSOCIATIONS
  • The College Associations consist of (a) Literary Association (b) Social Science forum (c) Commerce forum (d) Theatre Club (e) Nature Club (f) Consumer Cell (g) Skill Will Club (h) VAlue Education Cell (i) Women Cell (j) Inter-religious Cell (k) Placement Cell (l) Career & Guidance Cell etc.
  • Its Composition:
    • President - Principal of the college (Ex-officio)
    • Chairman - A Teacher of the College nominated by the Principal
    • Secretary - Student
    • Treasurer - Student
  • The following are the main objectives
    • To create intellectual climate, germinate new ideas and create a sense of responsibility
    • To bring out the hidden talents in dramatics, debates, singing and other spheres of fine art
    • Organizing enlightening talks by eminent personalities from all walks of life
      N.B.: Association's cannot incur any financial expenditure without previous saction of the Principal.
  • The chairman will ensure that at the end of the academic year a report of the activities and accounts is submitted to the Principal.
     
N.S.S.
  • N.S.S. stands for the National Scheme of Social Services.
  • Students interested in joining N.S.S. have to register themselves with the Programme officer. They will be admitted according to the allotted strength.
  • The Social Service Schemes is divided into:-
    • Regular activities
    • Special camp of 10 days duration
  • Students who complete 120 hours of social work, as per the N.N.S. norms are granted 7 grace marks. For this purpose the student has to obtain a certificate form the Programme Officer.
  • There are different types of projects like afforestation, adult education, economic survey, campus cleaning, awareness programmes etc.

N.C.C.
  • N.C.C. stands for National Cadet Corps
  • The N.C.C. Naval unit, Goa has allotted a division of 50 cadets for the College. Hence, students desirng to enroll themselves will be able to do so.
     
SPORTS
  • Indoor Sports Room
    The college has an Indoor Sports Room where facilities for indoor games like carrom, chess, table- tennis are provided.
  • College Gymkhana
    The College gymkhana is meant for promoting different types of games, sports, health and personality development.
