Fr. Agnel College Library is fully computerized with the help of NewGenLib Software and is one of the finest college libraries in Goa. The library not only provides up-to-date facts and information on all subjects to readers but also teach how to search information and gain knowledge. The library has the collection of more than15,000 documents, which include encyclopaedias, dictionaries, reference books, journals, maps/charts, and audio-video collections.
The College Library has 11436 books, subscribes to 48 journals with an in-house xerox facility.
The College Library is open to Professors and students from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., except on holidays or when the College is closed. Books are issued strictly in order of application. Students must on receiving the book examine it and report it immediately before taking any damage found there in. If they fail to do so, they will be held responsible for any damage that may be detected afterwards.
There are two sections in the Library.
- General reading section where the books and magazines are to be returned when the student leaves the hall or reading room.
- Lending section, where the student borrows the book for home reading. For both sections the students has to pay the security deposit of Rs. 100 which is refundable.
There is a Book Bank facility for economically backward students.
